We give the BB spreader and underpipe a 12 month warranty and most people do not have any problems within this time, if after the rearing period the spreader is cleaned and fitted with new balls, if required it should last at least another 12 months, we have had spreaders being used for over 5 years with the same balls but we recommend new balls every 12 to 18 months, if required.

We always recommend that the spreader is stripped down and assembled from the same parts rather than stripping down a load of parts and then getting them mixed up. The re-balling of the spreader can be carried out by anyone with a reasonable mechanical ability and the instructions to do this are here .

If at any time you are unhappy with the performance of the spreader it can be returned back to us at your cost for evaluation and if found to be defective it will be either repaired or replaced free of charge.

Our decision is final, we want happy customers but unfortunately we have had some items returned in the past, that had been tampered with, and were plainly not a warranty issue. Please see pictures below

These spreaders were returned under warranty as the customer swore that they left here in this state. They had obviously used the 75mm bolts that are supplied with the old GMT spreader, instead of the 35mm ones we supply with our spreader. To try and make sure this could not happen again, we do not thread the holes right through the baseplate now, so a customer cannot do this again.

If we have any failures, we need to see how we can improve the spreader for everyone’s benefit. Any feedback or suggestions on how to improve the spreader is always welcome, and will be implemented if it is feasible.
